Sea to Sky Athletes in the 2010 Winter Games
The 2010 Winter Games were the first ever to have all mountain competition venues completed two full years before the event. Not only has our community been able to enjoy the new facilities for our recreational use, this has allowed athletes, volunteers, residents and volunteers to experience 10 World Cup events here in 2008 and 2009.
There are plenty of Olympic and Paralympic hopefuls living and training right here in the Sea to Sky:

Even if you do not have a ticket, you will have one foot in the stadium with the opportunity to cheer on our local heroes and watch footage from all events along Whistler's Village Stroll during the Olympic and Paralympic Games. Whistler Live! will combine the best action from the Games through integrated stages and screens along the pedestrian stroll in the heart of Whistler Village.
