Parking Changes in Whistler During the 2010 Winter Games

Games Time Parking

All venues during the 2010 Winter Games will be accessible by a VANOC shuttle or BC Transit. There is no public parking available at any Games venue.  Spectators for ticketed events can ride BC Transit for free on the day of the event. Please note there is no BC Transit service to Whistler Olympic Park as this venue is serviced by a VANOC shuttle.

Whistler Blackcomb Day Skier Lot Use

Parking reductions will be in place throughout the region, beginning September 1 through to March 31.

Whistler Creekside Parking

Phased-in Creekside parkade closures:

  1. Jan 1 - Apr 21: No access to surface level (Loading dock will still be open)
  2. Jan 11 - April 5: No access to 100 spaces of P2
  3. Feb 1 - Mar 21: no access to rest of P2, P3, P4
There will be parking available for general public in the Creekside parkade on a first come, first served basis to a maximum of 100 parking stalls from 5 p.m. and 12 midnight starting March 1. To access these parking stalls, customers will not require permits.

Local vehicle permits will not be necessary to access Lake Placid Road after 4 p.m.

Left turn for south bound vehicles off of Hwy 99 onto Lake Placid Road will be available after 4 p.m. when local vehicle permitting closes.
