With over 16 alpine bowls, three glaciers, 200 trails, and 8,171 acres of skiable terrain, the choices of where and what to ski/ride at Whistler Blackcomb from beginner to advanced terrain are staggering.
Whistler Blackcomb terrain will be fully open for the majority of the 2009-2010 winter season, weather permitting. During the Olympic and Paralympic period, beginning January 25 for race course set up, over 90 percent of terrain will remain open. Detailed information regarding specific runs on Whistler Mountain that will be closed and corresponding dates can be found below as well as at whistlerblackcomb.com/olympics . During the Paralympics in March, again over 90 per cent of the terrain will be open with only the race course and training runs closed on Whistler Mountain.
